Final project developed in Pico 8, inspired by Blast Arena Advance.

Trihard is a small arcade game developed in Pico 8, inspired by Blast Arena Advance. It is a culmination of my skills developed over a year or two working in Pico 8, and is the final project I developed before I started university.

This project features several small features I am especially proud of while working in Pico 8 that help with performance, namely that the star sprite is reused for each star but dynamically rotated, and that the backgrounds are only procedurally generated for the top half, and the second half is a sprite grabbed from screen memory and flipped vertically.
